SB 1772 has been introduced by Senator Zaffirini. TBA was not consulted about this bill prior to filing so we have no additional information. While TBA supports and encourages pollinator-friendly initiatives and education about pollinators, we are in the process of researching the background and details of the bill.
Why it matters to TBA?
Nutrition is one of the cornerstones for honey bee health. Encouraging the growth of natural and nutritious forage on public or private land could be helpful in providing a variety of floral sources for honey bees, native pollinators, and even birds.
