About Us

Texas Beekeepers Association was formed in 1880 to provide an environment where established beekeepers could meet and share methods and experiences, while learning new techniques and discovering new research. It’s focus, then and now, is about the honey bee, it’s survival and management.

TBA’s Mission

Over the years, the Texas Beekeepers Association has worked to serve beekeepers of all kinds.

From beginner beekeepers to professional beekeepers, the Texas Beekeepers Association has something to offer – we strive to bring shared interest groups together as well as encourage collaborative work amongst stakeholders in the bee industry.

Through education, advocacy, and passion, we strive for innovation and sustainability for honey bees and beekeepers in Texas.

Texas Beekeepers Association (TBA) promotes the common interests, the betterment of conditions, and the general welfare of beekeeping.

Our organization is made great through volunteer work – we are always seeking volunteers to help with committees, project groups, and to join the TBA board.
