Beekeeping 101 is an opportunity to learn all the basics to get started in beekeeping.
This course is geared for the beginner beekeeper – those with little to absolutely no knowledge. This course is very hands-on, with countless examples and opportunities to touch and handle the beekeeping equipment and bees.
You will receive a packet with:
- beekeeping catalogs
- factsheets
- other useful literature
This course consists of a Classroom Portion (May 9, 2024) and an optional Field Day (May 10, 2024, morning or afternoon session).
Attendees MUST be ages 15 and up to participate in the field day.
